My Biodata...

Upon completion of my National Service where I served as an Officer of the Singapore Armed Forces, I joined the National University of Singapore and took up the Life Science programme, concentrating in the field of Biomedical Sciences. I was previously from Victoria School and eventually graduated from Serangoon Junior college. Out of the classroom, my passion for sports led me in becoming captain of the sport climbing team in JC as well as in the University. I was recently awarded Team Player of the Year during Team NUS Sport Award 2008. My outlook to life is that: Life was already tough, so why not make it tougher. This vision encourages myself to train harder and live life to the fullest.
After completing my Bachelor's degree, I plan to take up Masters of Sports physiotherapy course at Curtin University, to fulfil my dream of becoming a sports therapist.

'Life was already tough, so why not make it tougher.' I must admit that I am enlightened by these words. As i was reading the it, i thought it would end with 'so why not make it less tough'. Lesson learnt. Thanks =)
I had some difficulties writing my own short post because it was pretty hard to make it sound truthful and yet not boastful of oneself. I thought you achieved that in your biodata as it was an honest and earnest write-up. You also ended it very well with your dream and how you intend to work towards realising it. Wish that you attain your goal! Well done!

Hey Edwin! Just like Hui Min, I was also enlightened by your outlook in life to strive harder to attain greater goals.

I felt that your biodata was well balanced and contains your academic and non-academic background. You also stated your passion in climbing as well as your achievements in the sport and displayed your leadership abilities. I admire your dream to become a sports therapist and I hope that you will go on to become a reputable sports therapist!

Hi group leader! Firstly, I must say that that is a very unique outlook of life that you have. However, it does have some truth to it and I am also enlightened by it!

Anyway, I feel that your biodata is short (100 word limit) but very clear and informative. You mentioned about your education information, leadership achievements, interests, outlook of life, as well as your future plans. Overall, you managed to impress me but yet in a humble way. Very well done!

Lastly, may your dream come true! (:

hey edwin,
congrats on being named the team player of the year. What an honour! Anyway, clear and straight to the point. I admire you aspiration in being a sports therapist. Go for your dream! Although you have stated your achievements, you still remain humble and down to earth (in this post of course). Like what Jia Hwa said, I am impressed with your humble-ness. Good job!

Hey Edwin, I am impressed that you know what you want out of life, like your goals for the future, and how you strive towards them. Your biodata is diverse yet contains sufficient detail such as your concentration of study in Biomedical sciences and even the name of the university you want to attain your Masters of Sports physiotherapy at.
I also feel that your motto in life is very impessive and would indeed push you to work harder and do better. I wish I was like that sometimes but I get caught up with enjoying the small things at other times.

Hi Edwin, thanks for your interesting and informative biodata.

However, you can still be more concise with your words. I notice that information about NS and your education took up about one-third of your biodata.

Anyway, all the best as you strive to fulfil your dream of becoming a sports therapist. I'm sure you'll make a wonderful and caring physiotherapist!
